Digital X-Rays & Digital Sensors
When treating oral diseases like cavities or gum disease, dentists rely on dental x-rays to provide a complete picture of the condition. These detailed images help them identify the cause of the problem and plan the appropriate treatment.
Unlike traditional x-rays, digital imaging provides a low dose of radiation—about 80% lower—while allowing our dentists to see the hidden areas more clearly. Also, we use flat digital sensors to capture high-resolution images instead of an uncomfortable clip held in the patient’s mouth.
We also use digital x-rays to educate you about your oral health. The dentist uses the images to show you the problem, explain your treatment options, and how addressing the problem benefits your long-term oral health.

Digital Impressions
Our handheld digital scanner makes it incredibly easy to take dental impressions without using messy, uncomfortable paste. The scanner delivers high-quality digital impressions that are significantly more detailed and accurate than those we can obtain with traditional paste impressions.
Our digital scanner allows our dentists to create a 3-D virtual model of your teeth, eliminating the need for stone molds and models. This approach allows the lab to create high-quality custom dental work, such as bridges and crowns.
Our dentists also use the digital scanner to plan Invisalign treatment. The virtual model allows them to determine how teeth should move, plan each step of treatment, and help you visualize the final results.

Panoramic X-Rays
Although regular dental x-rays are indispensable, sometimes our dentists need to see the entire mouth in one image to diagnose a problem. A panoramic x-ray is a type of imaging technology that allows our dentist to view all your teeth, jaws, and surrounding areas in a single, continuous image.
We commonly use panoramic x-rays to plan Invisalign treatment, tooth extractions, and root canal treatment.

Intraoral Cameras
We want you to be involved and informed about your treatment needs. Instead of performing a visual examination and telling you what we see, our intraoral cameras encourage you to participate actively in the process.
An intraoral camera is handheld technology that our dentists use to capture a magnified image of the inside of your mouth. The image is displayed on your TV screen, so you can see what your dentist sees and follow along as they examine your teeth.
You can easily see conditions like cracked or broken teeth, decay, and old, deteriorating dental work during the examination. Our dentists can explain the impact these issues have on your oral health and help you understand the benefits of treating them.
We store your intraoral images in your digital patient record, making them easy to access and share with insurance companies or specialists as needed.

DIAGNOdent Laser Cavity Detection
Most people may not realize cavities don't always need a filling, especially if they're detected early. In the past, methods such as dental probing or x-rays were used to identify cavities. However, structural damage to the tooth may already be done after diagnosing decay using these methods.
Today, thanks to advancements in dental technology, cavity detection has become easier and faster. DIAGNOdent laser detection technology involves a handheld laser that scans the surfaces of your teeth. When it detects even the tiniest cavity, it illuminates the area so our dentists can see it easily. Treating cavities in their earliest stages helps us protect your oral health, deliver less invasive treatment, and improve long-term results.

Noise-Canceling Headphones
Our patients’ comfort is extremely important to us, and we know that sometimes the common sounds produced by dental technology make some patients nervous. We solve the problem by offering wireless headphones and Spotify, so you can listen to your favorite music while we work to improve your oral health.

Digital Records
One reason we can spend so much quality time with our patients is that we have switched to the use of digital records. Instead of sorting through mountains of paper files, we can easily access all your vital information at the touch of a button. Your dental history, medications, x-rays, treatment plans, and intraoral images are all stored on our secure in-house network.
Our team members can quickly and efficiently pull up your information and share it electronically with specialists or insurance companies as needed.

Digital Smile Design
An invaluable tool that helps our patients understand the benefits of dental treatment is high-tech software called digital smile design. Our dentists input digital images of your face in various poses and manipulate the software to create a mock-up of how your teeth will look after your smile makeover. It's like a test drive for your new smile!
Digital smile design is invaluable in helping our patients visualize the proposed treatment results and appreciate the dramatic transformation we can deliver.

3-D Digital Printing
Our dentists are committed to providing high-quality, long-lasting dental work for our patients. To achieve this, we use leading-edge dental technology like digital impressions and 3-D printing for greater control over the quality of the final results we deliver.
With 3-D printing, we eliminate the need for stone models used for planning crown and bridgework and other tooth restorations. The result is highly-detailed and accurate outcomes that improve your oral health and enhance your smile's function and appearance.
